Initial Brake & Lamp Station Application

Step 3: What permits do I need?

In addition to your Brake & Lamp station license, your shop will need to display individual licenses for the Brake and Lamp adjusters that will work in your shop.

For each type of shop license you are seeking, you will need to list at least one adjuster’s license of the appropriate license class on your application.

For example, if you are applying for a station license for a Class A Brake Station license and a Class A Lamp Station license, then your application will need to list:

• At least one brake adjuster with a Class A Brake Adjuster’s license who will be working for you, AND
• At least one lamp adjuster with a Class A Lamp Adjuster’s license who will be working for you.
