Automotive Repair Dealer (ARD) Renewal Applicants

Step 2: How do I renew my ARD registration?

As a courtesy, all registrants are mailed a renewal notice approximately 90 days prior to the expiration of their registration. To apply for a renewal of your ARD registration, simply follow these three steps:

  1. Review your renewal notice for accuracy. If there are changes, please indicate such changes in the box provided on the renewal notice. If you do not receive a renewal notice, you may include a copy of your prior registration along with a short note indicating you wish to renew your registration. Please ensure that you provide your registration number.
  2. Include a check or money order for the renewal fee. The fee for renewing your ARD registration is $200.
  3. Mail your fee and renewal request to the address listed below:

Warning: Your renewal form and fee must be submitted to the Department of Consumer Affairs (DCA) for processing. Submission of insufficient fees will result in a delay in renewing your registration.
